Trekking on Mount Toubkal
The High Atlas is North Africa’s greatest mountain range and home to some of the most intriguing and beautiful regions of Morocco. A historical and physical barrier between the northern plains and Sahara Desert, the Berber-populated valleys are a world away from the country’s more mainstream, urban life.
Toubkal is the highest peak in north Africa at 4167 metres and offers not only a fascinating hike with stunning scenic views, but also an insight into the unique culture of the proud Berber people and a taste of the beautiful flora and fauna of the mountains.
